SAFS are excited to announce that once again Dawinder Bansal, Peter Chand and their team from Black Country Touring shall be coming back to SAFS.
We look forward to celebrating our 30 years of providing Health, Social care & Wellbeing services for our children, young people & adults with disabilities, alongside their families on Saturday 4th June 2016.
On Monday 4th April 2016 SAFS carried out a fundraising activity at Cape hill Asda, alongside a small group of our adults who attend our ‘lifestyle service’, whom all thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to socialise and interact with our local community.
Here at SAFS we kicked started our New Year with a big trip to the Pantomime.
SAFS had been invited as special guests of Itihaas to attend a Hans Raj Hans concert at the Wolverhampton Civic Theatre.
A group of up to 36 Parents, Carers and Families were invited along also for a night of enjoyment and entertainment on behalf of SAFS.
On the night of the concert we had also brought along our own photographer Amy-Rose Deffley to capture our memories created on the night. All the images captured can be seen on our Facebook and Flickr accounts.
On Saturday 4th June 2016 SAFS will be celebrating our 30th Anniversary in style!
We are holding a splendid Anniversary Gala at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens where all of our friends, families, other local organisations and businesses will come together to celebrate this special occasion.
SAFS have been contacted by Newcastle University to help facilitate a new study being conducted by an organisation ASC-UK into the effects of Autism in Adulthood.
Last year we at SAFS hosted our first ever Macmillan Coffee Morning, which was a huge triumph, as a result of this, we decided to really push the boat out this year and team up with a local business, City Dental Practice for another one!
Here at SAFS we like to get involved with many different local organisations and activites so when we were approached to work with the Black Country Touring, we jumped at the chance!. Black Country Touring is an organisation who brings professional dance and theatre from all over the UK to the the Black Country.
