Out of School Service

SAFS offers an After School Club on Tuesday and Thursday evenings during term time. We also offer a daytime Saturday club. Anyone of our individuals aged between 3 and 18 years of age are able to access these services.

At the After School Club individuals are able to take part in group activities such as cooking, playing musical instruments and engaging in arts and crafts in the centre. On Saturdays, the group often go out into the community to visit local parks or other local attractions. On other occasions the groups may choose to stay in the centre and benefit from the sensory room or play board games and other in-house activities.

Fun activities and games are formed around a structured timetable surrounding mealtimes. Every member of the After School Club and Saturday Club are provided a healthy and balanced meal, with snacks and refreshments provided throughout each session. SAFS understand that routine is very important to those who have disabilities which is why our sessions are structured.

Transport to and from SAFS is provided.

The Out of School Service enables the individual’s family a short break knowing their child is safe in the caring hands of SAFS.
